Challenge
Design a fun party app playable on a single phone, while maintaining update frequency and safety for user-generated content.
Orchestrate multiple mini-games (truth or dare, audio music quizzes, drinking games, quizzes) within one seamless experience without compromising fluidity or moderation, and support organic growth that surpassed 300k downloads.
Solution
Modular architecture stacking multiple mini-games: general knowledge quizzes, truth or dare, drinking games, and audio music quizzes with curated playlists. Content is versioned and pushed live to keep parties fresh.
A “Word Tribunal” powered by a lightweight AI model filters and classifies sensitive responses. Onboarding emphasizes single-phone play, with vibration/sound to set the pace and an offline mode for low-connectivity locations.
On the growth side: deep links to stores, landing page SEO, Instagram/TikTok campaigns, and in-app surveys to prioritize upcoming packs (Purity Test, Music Quiz, etc.).
Impact
300k+ cumulative downloads (100k+ on Google Play alone) and a community exceeding 280k active users. The app ranks in the global top 30 in its category on the App Store.
Average rating of 4.5★ with 18-minute average sessions and peak usage on Friday/Saturday nights. The “Truth or Dare” and “Purity Test” packs are the most replayed thanks to monthly updates.
